Lori K. graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 1999. While at massage school, she had a roll over car accident. The accident changed her life and luckily she was in school where she could get the care she needed to feel better. The need for care with her chronic pain has given her empathy when working on clients with injuries and chronic pain. She completed the Associate of Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy in 2000 with a focus on sports and orthopedic massage. Lori had her first child in January of 2002. The experience of being pregnant and the post partum time prompted her to seek further education with pregnancy. Her continuing education brought her to prenatal and postpartum massage and care through a Lamaze childbirth education certification and postpartum doula certification through the Doulas of North America (DONA). As the Director of Massage Services at Rallysport, Lori strives to have the best, most experienced massage therapists in Boulder County on staff. Stefanie’s discovery of the joy of Movement began when she studied Physical Theatre at the University of Washington. She explored many types of dance and martial arts based physical actor training. This and her study of meditation fueled her desire to study Massage. She graduated from The Connecting Point School of Massage in Telluride Colorado in 2001, working on many athletes and also honing the skill of lighter work. Since then she has studied Yoga, Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology and also became a Mother. She graduated from the Southwest College of Acupuncture here in Boulder, Co in 2008. Her massage is influenced by all her studies. She likes to combine Swedish massage for flushing the tissue with more specific deeper work as needed. She feels that working in boulder has really helped her hone her craft to excelling in certain types of specific work, especially the shoulder, neck and pelvis. She likes to see the body as a whole, discovering where there is misalignment, assisting the client in body awareness and helping the tissue to release so the body can align itself. She enjoys the creativity of drawing on her many studies of the body, mind and spirit to help her client move into greater health and painlessness.
