Special Cycling Events
Saturday, July 31
11:00 a.m. (1.5-2 hour)
Ever wonder what to do with that old bike sitting in your garage? There is a place your old bike can live on doing great work in rural Africa. Bicycles for Humanity, is a Boulder based non-profit which gathers used bikes and ships them to Namibia where they go to bike based mobile healthcare workers. In rural Namibia, access to healthcare is greatly impeded by lack of transport. For healthcare workers, a bike can increase the number of patients visited four fold. In a land where HIV rates can top 40%, access to medication is at times the difference between life and death.Join us for a ride to raise money for this great cause.
Hosted by RallySport Health and Fitness
We will have two rides, which will start and finish at RallySport
There will be a bike tune up tent on site at 10:00 a.m. to get you set up before you start the ride!
Join us for food and beverages after the ride (around 12:45 PM) on the pool deck
Join us on this ride or bring an old bike to donate. $15 donation per rider.
