Booty Boot Camp is been a great success at RallySport for the past 3 years. Lisa Verbeck has seen up to 10% body fat loss with some people! The class has been redesigned to offer success to more people. There is now Booty Boot Camp 101. Designed for those who are a little intimidated by the class, and that need to jump in slowly. These participants will then graduate to Boot Camp 201 (M/W/F at 10:00 a.m., M/Th at 6:00 p.m.). Everyone in Boot Camp will set short and long term goals, have before and after body fat measurements, reap the benefits with the support of Lisa and the group, and have fun while achieving those goals. This is a team effort and the team will help you get there!

“Shaping the Booty’s of Boulder” Bootcamp.
Take a second and imagine what you think this class may be like. Ok, are you imagining someone yelling at you, screaming for you to do 10 more push-ups? If you are, you are not alone. Fads come and go in the fitness world, and Boot Camp classes have made their way to most gyms across America. The beauty of these classes is that you will never find any that are the same, or instructors that deliver in the same manner. At Rally Sport, Lisa Verbeck teaches Booty Boot Camp for those willing to look beyond the name, with no yelling and screaming guaranteed!
The class is a small group experience and runs for 6-week sessions, two times per week. The goal of the class is to increase muscular strength, cardiovascular strength and improve the ‘fun factor’ toward exercise. There is testing on the first day of the six week period, and testing the last day. So far, there has been a 10-20% increase in strength and cardiovascular fitness. There are really no rules in this class. There may be days the class is outside at a park, on the creek path, or inside pushing weights, running stairs, just about anything goes. However, this is not a walk in the park. Every participant works hard, and is amazed at what they can do. “Lisa knows what your body can do, she convinces your mind that you can do it”, says B.W.
“The intention of the class is to increase overall fitness by including high intensity interval training and strength training. The combination will increase your cardiovascular endurance and strength endurance. As a bonus, with this combination, you will burn more calories while participating and continue burning when you go home”, says Lisa Verbeck.
The small group atmosphere has also proven to play a large part in the success for the participants. The friendships that have formed go beyond the sweat. Teamwork is encouraged, and helping each other is a small effort that makes a big difference with the success of the class. As one participant says, “the friendships you build through sweat makes it all so much easier!”

Boot Camp inspired and prepared me to compete in 4 Sprint Triathlons this summer - I never would've even considered competing before I started taking the class”, says T.C.
